Everyone has their own unique writing journey, often with many days and years spent in solitude. How can a grant, fellowship, or residency help accelerate your progress? In this two-day virtual workshop, you’ll assess your short- and long-term goals and look for opportunities to support your writing, community needs, and professional aspirations. Spending time thinking about your writing and its possibilities will nurture your creative direction and energy. This reflective work is easier to do in conversation and community so that we can motivate and inspire one another. We’ll discuss where to find opportunities and get introspective for artist statements, project descriptions, and other documents to build the foundation portfolio for your applications.
