Often, starting a story is the hardest thing to do. In this two-session class, we'll explore tried and true techniques that will help you find a good place to begin and discuss how beginnings relate to endings.

Classes will be a mixture of lecture and generative exercises. Students will gain a better understanding of writing craft fundamentals and leave with prompts designed to help them overcome writer's block regardless of whether it occurs at the start of a writing project or later.
